The Verbatim double layer DVD offer an impressive capacity of 8.5GB (2.6GB for 8cm products). This is possible thanks to the additional layer adjustment, which is between the burning side, the two layers can then be burnt with the laser. When the first layer is full, the second is burnt in the continuity. No matter what you want to record with your digital camcorder: by Verbatim you will find the convenient DVD. Whereas our standard DVD have a burning capacity of 30 minutes, the new double layers DVD have a double capacity: 55 minutes of continuous burning, without having to turn the DVD. All the Verbatim 8cm DVD have the „HardCoat ScratchGuard“ protection. This special coating protects your videos in a safe way against scratches, finger traces and dust. Some tests have demonstrated that this special coating offers a 50 times more efficient protection against normal using traces as for DVD which don’t have this protection.
